first off dear patsy, all is well...spent quite a bit of time with dear penelope yesterday, hence no check in phone call.

and now to the eeevil empire...flashback 2002...a certain senior staff member at my place of work decides to take over my little corner of the world, thereby removing best boss in world. Best boss replaced by best drinking boss. Best boss in world stays on at workplace in different capacity trying to get to retirement age. Flashforward 2005: Best boss in world returns to workplace...Prudence without job post-MBA takes contract gig at workplace largely in part because of Best Boss. Today we find out that its 2002 ALL over again...Chief of Staff has promoted deputy to director and trip coordinator to deputy...leaving Best Boss and Prudence wondering what the hell is going on...so much for Prudence's big promo...looks like its time to renew the search for real.
