penelope: welcome back. and welcome to scott's life of balancing the silly mens. good job.
ladies,
so, i'm obsessed with butterstick the panda. we all know this.
I had to turn down an invitation to a birthday party this weekend, as I will be in Chicago... fucking the brains out of the birthday girl's brother-in-law. We met at her wedding... where he was the best man... and I was the one sleeping with him on the wedding night.
hello, girls.
There are no real shenanagans at the office today, just some over reaction to a stupid move by staff. Details offline if anyone cares (you really shouldn't).
Without my knowledge or consent, my job has been reduced to that of an intern. This afternoon, I copied an entire two inch binder of materials, hole punched them (we don't have three hole punch paper) and then created nine tabs for the materials.

client dinner last night with folks from japan. the sake and beer flowed like water. i was sitting across from one of the only americans that works with them... a handsome, handsome young gentleman with incredible eyes and a smile that lights up his face. we drink and converse for the better part of an hour before - WHAM - he mentions just having finished a trip... with his GIRLFRIEND. I was like, "perhaps you know a certain grad student - slash - retail sales person I like to stalk. I bet you guys are in the same boat."
